Planned Obsolescence

Planned Obsolescence is an on going project I started quite some time ago. As society collectively moves toward a digital atmosphere many objects we once relied on have become a rarity, much like telephone booths. The purpose of the series is to engage the viewer to consider how the movement toward a digital world will inevitably alter our landscape.

Over the years, I have watched this project slowly grow from a few images and an idea to an installation piece. The project is now in its third iteration featuring 110 Polaroids hung by individual clips on nails and a decommissioned pay phone.
