Fractured Perspective

At times shooting with Polaroid film, one feels very limited by what will fit within the border. Fractured perspectives encapsulates the essence that all things are never just one, they are an accumulation of things brought together. When looking at a scene such as the Tacoma Narrows, a prominent structure of the Pacific Northwest, one shot could never bring justice to the magnitude of two bridges. Or just the opposite one shot could never quite touch on the softness of a rose with its tender vines. This project is a way to bring together all the parts that create the full feeling of a scene.
